Message regarding the Covid Vaccination Centre

We have had a great response to our increased opening times and have been able to vaccinate over 2400 people in the last 2 days. Going forward we are very keen to get as many people as possible protected by Christmas especially with the ever increasing rate of the Omicron variant in our community.

We are therefore opening up to walk ins from practices in Hambleton including Northallerton, Thirsk, Topcliffe, Bedale, Stokesley and Great Ayton.  We will offer this from Monday 20th December 8.30am to 7pm and similar times each day this week until Thursday 23rd December. We will do a half day on Friday Christmas Eve finishing at 1.30pm.

 We are happy to offer:

1. First vaccination to anyone 16 and over

2. Second vaccination to anyone 16 and over who had their first dose at least 8 weeks ago

3. Booster dose to anyone who had their second dose 3 months ago

If you have had covid recently you must wait 28 days before you have a vaccination.

We will have some booked appointments on each day who will take priority but as many people will know the waiting times at the centre are usually very short if at all and are nothing like the pictures we see on the news each day so you will be very unlucky to spend a long time queuing 😁

We look forward to getting the final few thousand vaccinated to help protect us all
