AUTUMN FLU AND COVID VACCINE PROGRAMME FROM OCTOBER 2025

We are pleased to now be offering both Flu and Covid vaccinations to our eligible patients this autumn. 

Flu vaccinations for :

  • pregnant ladies
  •  2-3 yr olds
  • children in clinical at risk groups from 6 months to under 18 years

will be offered from 1st September 2025.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has updated its advice for the Autumn 2025 covid campaign and this will now only target those at highest risk of serious disease, this is a national decision and means that not all patients eligible for flu vaccine will be eligible to also have a covid vaccine.

For autumn 2025, COVID-19 vaccination will be offered to:

  • adults aged 75 years and over
  • residents in care homes for older adults
  • individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over

Flu vaccinations will be offered to :

  • those aged 65 years and over
  • those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups 
  • those in long-stay residential care homes
  • carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
  • close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
  • frontline workers in a social care setting
